Pastor James Starr is a licensed Assemblies of God minister, a certified Chemical Dependency Specialist (CDS), and an experienced recovery mentor. With years of hands-on experience in helping individuals overcome addiction and life’s challenges, Pastor James brings both professional expertise and a compassionate, Christ-centered approach to Victorious Recovery Ministry.
His passion is guiding people toward honesty, healing, and lasting victory. Through Step-based recovery, process groups, and one-on-one mentorship, Pastor James helps participants confront unmanageable patterns, experience spiritual growth, and develop practical tools for a transformed life.
With a deep understanding of both the spiritual and practical aspects of recovery, Pastor James is uniquely equipped to lead VRM in fostering a safe, supportive environment where individuals can be honest, be heard, and begin their journey toward freedom in Christ.
